Can I rate it a 10???? Haven’t eaten here but everytime I go, it’s packed!!! I’m a huge Hot Choc critic. I’ll judge creaminess, temperature, flavour and anything else I feel like it at the time. Everywhere I go I get the same order. This place, I have to say, nails the brief. The combination of 50/50 milk and dark choc is delish. The temperate (I request x hot) is perfect. The creaminess is on point. The owner (I think he is) he’s the barrister greets the locals by name, remembers orders and is all over everything. And his eyebrows are incredible I have always seen “worlds best hot choc” sign and thought, yeah yeah whatever. I’ve eaten humble pie. I venture up here on my morning walks but only stop in here and there to get a hot choc, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. If they don’t get my money, no one does! Try it out, you won’t be disappointed

Great coffee and great service. Hands down the best mocha I have had so far, worth every single cents!! The coffee taste the same every-time we visit We love the seat on the deck with super warm heater. If you need a sweet fix for the morning, I could not recommend this place enough :)

This cafe has a lovely atmosphere, it's in a cute laneway with a jacaranda tree in front, very pleasant staff. I had coffee and a Portuguese tart, just right. A tempting range of food on display. I must try the hot chocolate after seeing other reviews. Outdoor seating as well. I don't live in the area but will have to return when the tree is in flower.

I was going for a relatively random walk and ended up seeing this cafe and had to suss it out. Looking at the wide range of flavoured coffees, melted hot chocolates and milkshakes really drew me in to try one! The service was extremely friendly which I always admire greatly and they were very adaptable to make the white mocha with oat milk and making it so deliciously well! The tables were all full, but it didn’t feel crowded and it was lunch time. I immediately decided to bring my wife here so she can explore with her taste buds too!

A really lovely cafe! The staff were all exceptional - very friendly and helpful. I love that there is a big range of good quality, non-coffee drinks (chai, tea, hot chocolate and milkshakes) in addition to coffee. The range of toasties is great and the two I have tried (the pumpkin and halloumi and the cheesy cauliflower) were delicious. Highly recommend.

I’ve been looking for the “best” hot chocolate for years and I am glad that I found this gem hidden in the heart of Camberwell. It definitely lives up to their claim of “Melbourne’s best hot chocolate” and I highly recommend their 50/50 hot chocolate for anyone after a great experience. The staff are super friendly and professional, and the place offers a great atmosphere.

I’ve been to Choclatte a couple of times now and it’s always such a great experience. The hot chocolate is absolutely amazing, and the food is just as good. On top of that, the staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole visit even better. Definitely one of my favourite spots nearby
